I'm glad you liked the movie.  The music is by Fanny Mendelssohn. Sorry, but I can't remember the name of the song.

Jeff Daniels turns in a masterful performance in this movie. As a viewer, you're taken through all these different emotions, at one moment you're empathizing with him, at the next moment, you're terrified and disgusted by him.

Put "Dumb and Dumber" at one end of the acting spectrum, and "Chasing Sleep" at the other, and you can see what an incredible range Jeff Daniels has. He has to be among the most under-rated, under-appreciated actors out there.

Saw this movie late one night, thought it was pretty good. Then I forgot the name of the film entirely, and from my poor description no one seemed to know what it was called. Tonight I finally found the name of the film again, now I need to go out and buy it.
