I can see some practical applications for this. like testing your teen driver to see if he or she is stopping to hard, too bad you cant figure out the road conditions into the mix some how. could a sensor be constructed for that?
Great video, Now i have a project for you to do if your up to it?? ;) a meter that displays punching power wich you can place on your punch bag(a patch) and it keeps the score up for around 5 seconds :) I have tried and failed but many would use the tutorial!!!
@OtherVincentLee It wouldn't have a 1 because it is measuring forces in directions parallel to the ground. The force of gravity is perpendicular to the ground so it shouldn't show up on the meter.
it would have a 1 in front of it, since the earth has gravity. his hardest braking .84 g would actually be 1.84g, which is the weight of the car+the almost 9/10 extra. So if you weighted 140lb, you would feel like you weighed 256.7lb when braking. Good vid, Great device.

I like how you:
- drive with your left hand on the right side of the wheel,
- hold your camera with your right arm
- breake vigorously.
All those qualify you for a safe driver.
*satire*
Also, you might add a default 10x multiplier to your scale, 0.01 doesn't mean much.
