Hey minkus...go crawl back into your cave....this guy is the real deal....he's making music at a time when most folks are caught up in the anger of rap and the endless drone of ska and reggae.....this guy did a great job at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and there is much more to come from him given his age.....

@LeesJams I agree. "A Face Among The Crowd" is a beautiful song. I just watched it with my son, who last week returned home after 2 years in Argentina. We both got emotional. I hope it's on his new album to be released in a couple of weeks.

jackie greene is just awesome because he's an everyman. he's particularly neat because he kinda flies below the radar, but he is definitely makes some of the best music in this shitty, rap dominated age.

If you have seen Jackie not just play with Phil & Friends but even step up and lead the band as if it was his own. And all his solos are the same, I would like some documented evidence on that one. Give me two different dates where he played the same solo? Cant do it can you. Jackie Greene is is a BADASS!!! And I to have also talked to him and he is very down to earth!!!

Are you kidding me? not an artist? he is an artist in the most true sense, he's an amazing writer, who has written more great songs in his few years than most people can in a lifetime! He's extremely talented, I will use the word "Gifted" you are comparing apples to oranges.
