Pat Thrall on guitar is awesome. I still play my original blue LP, and friends ask me what is that? I tell em it's over 40 years old.....

Never heard this one before now, I feel like it is a fine work in deed but not up to the blue album. Just my lowly opinion is all. Every song on the blue album touches me deeply even to this day over all these many years. The blue album is musically brutal, and equally beautiful and gentle as well. The blue album is everything just the way it is

I have both A M albums (vinyl of coarse),big fan,great material.Does anyone know why the lineup from the '76 album changed ? Gone were Michael Shrieve (drummer ; also of note- Shrieve had also been drummer for Carlos Santana) replaced by Glenn Symmonds,and Doni Harvey (bassist),replaced by Jerome Rimson.Both albums (Automatic Man & Visitors) were fantastic.

@loutone I love this music

I like that this song is so intriguing and there is no need to put a label on it

This band I somehow missed out on. They are unbelievable!

Doni Harvey..Bless
As much as i like this album, this song is clearly better than some of the weak lp tracks like ''newspapers

The lineup changed because the album did not sell, they had problems getting their sound live, internal squabbles.

Sorry to hear about Doni. Just talked to him a few months back and he was happy to see Automatic man getting some attention on youtube.
