Dictator? I did not know that when Castro took power away from a hand full of elites and foreign exploiters and giving that power to the people and ensuring everyone and home, health care, food and dignity he was being a "dictator". I did not know that by Batista shooting all dissidents and allowing racist anti-black segregation and allowing prostitution and mafia-capitalism was democracy.

@ferni305 The only reason the US blocks Cuba, is because of it's communist government. After the revolution, Cuba wanted to work together with the US. They had nothing against them and had the vice-president come over and shown around by Castro himself. He explained his plans and the vice-president immediately told the US government they were communists. And so the American crusade against Cuba began. If you're different than the US, they will do anything to cripple you. That's a simple truth.

Well America would probably be glad to lift the embargo, if the Cuban government would take off its ridiculous and outrageous propaganda against the U.S all over the island I find it hard to understand why people blame the U.S for Cuba's problems. Cuba is the way it is because of Castro! End of Story!, why should the U.S support a country that is trying to brainwash the people by telling them that the U. S is the enemy. Communisim doesnt work no matter what... we have learned from the past...
