Ive almost had enough with my ISP. Virgin media sucks donkey dick. 350mb to share over 3 computers for 8hrs. On 24th December 2007 without notification i was placed on the traffic management list. After numerous chat sessions with their technical support team, i fount out that i was going to be capped. 512kbps for 8hrs 4pm - 12am OVER CHRISTMAS!

No notification, for broadband 8mb (unlimited*) we pay £19.99 +£11 line rental to BT + upto 7p a minute per 08 number we call. Their tech support is useless as its online support at 25p.

They cant even cap me right this test shows download of 440kbps a far cry of the 512 they say. The futures looking bright virgin media, the future is looking orange.

Song by the beastie boys - futurama theme song.

Entanet for the win - 60GB peak (Mon-fri 8am-10pm) 330GB off peak weekends and 10hrs night - £27.99! £19.99 plan for 30GB peak time also available. Falconnet supplier.
Thanks for watching XD - Kizza

  • sky broadband has just dropped its fair use policy,go to them...

  • @stuart38 This video is older than their LLU kit that has been put in my area recently. Take note.

  • @krazykizza what is an llu kit.i have not heard of this.

  • @stuart38 then you wont know that sky's fair use policy is not the same for people in some areas, and that sky never actually had a FUP for people in certain areas.

  • @krazykizza i am intregued to know what you mean because i thought it would be the same for everyone.

  • @stuart38 users in areas where sky do not have their own equipment installed must use BTs backbone to get to Skys gateways, meaning bandwidth is more expensive for them, thus tighter limitations put in place on users speed should excessive data gets used by a customer. Not to mention the increased pricing.

  • I've had virgin broadband since it came out, and I'm a gamer. Always get a reliable connection at the speed I was promised, its only slowed down twice since it came out.
