Clorox is bleach used in laundry and cleaning. We have had no problemwith the water getting green or muddy. The bleach keeps those things from growing.

You mention the bottles being filled with water and Clorox. We don´t have Clorox where I am and their website shows a bewildering array of products. Can you tell me which one and what it says on the label about ingredients so thay I can try and find an equivalent:?

How long have yours been installed? Any problems with the water "going off" or discoulouring?
