SBHMinistry@yahoo.com Solar lighting cheap, We filled Cocacola (joya) bottles with water and chlorox and now we have automatic lights in our church. We found the idea on YouTube from a man in Brazil. He uses plastic bottles

  • Clorox is bleach used in laundry and cleaning. We have had no problemwith the water getting green or muddy. The bleach keeps those things from growing.

  • This is a lovely, free idea anybody can use. This idea has also been implemented in my country, the Philippines. :-)

  • You mention the bottles being filled with water and Clorox. We don´t have Clorox where I am and their website shows a bewildering array of products. Can you tell me which one and what it says on the label about ingredients so thay I can try and find an equivalent:?

How long have yours been installed? Any problems with the water "going off" or discoulouring?

  • is sunlight needed for this to work??
