@Ccliskaboy They allow fore and aft movement. Regular rollers, being completely stationary, don't allow for that subtle movement and it's easy to come off them with the slight lurching we have naturally when riding on the street.
The back and forth movement feels more like riding on the road. Obviously Mr. Serchbest doesn't understand riding on rollers. Anyhow, I rode these at a Cross Crusade event in Portland last year on my single speed cyclocross bike. Even with nobbies these things rock! I could ride no hands straight away, and they were much more life like then my stationary rollers. If they weren't so damn expensive I would own some. Kudos to the inventor!
