@wardenphil Water cannons? Looks to me like the giant machines use some sort of electric arc to blast the rock away. The jet of water is for cooling, or for flushing away the debris. Or maybe it’s steam for pre-heating the rock, I don’t know.

@wardenphil That's the "tear the wealth out these hills" part of the narration. That's the funny thing about "progressives" their message is ever changing and eventually contradictory. The only common element is using Force on peaceful and productive people who make the mistake of not agreeing with them. They will use Force and threats of Force to get people to do as they command to do X, and 20 years later use Force to enforce the exact opposite. Of course, they control whatever their whim.

I always found it fascinating how the double-helix appeared as one of the symbols of the knowledge of the future- nearly 20 years before the discovery of the DNA molecule.
