Pacelli, Pius XII - part 4 (liberation, jubilee - 1944-50)

First to voice any opinion that could be fruit of stereotyped ideas or ignorance try to see and to read the real history and to understand the real reasons that forced Pacelli to keep silent about some events, this doesn't mean his collusion with Nazism, on the contrary, he has done his all first to prevent and then to fight every totalitarianisms.

The modern man gets used to suspicion and to bad faith and this has closed his heart and blocked his possibility to catch the real sense of a righteous person's action especially when he works in silence and unseen.

This film is a pathetic attempt to make a heroe out of a coward, If the mightiest man of all catholics (and Gods representive on earth) can not speak out and speak out loud, then who can!

There were however brave people in the church who even payed with there lives. Sadly they were few and pope Pius was not among them.

Activites were hectic in the Vatican after the war is says in the film. Among this activites were helping houndreds of Nazi war criminals to escape justic.

Pio XII temia tanto al comunismo, socialismo y democracia que apresuro a firmar concordatos con los estado autoritarios de Mussolini e Hitler cuando sirvio como Secretario del Estado del Vaticano. Los concordatos ponian a los obispos de Alemania e Italia bajo el control directo del Vaticano, convirtiendolo asi en una jerarquia autoritaria. Los concordatos sirvieron para legitimizar a Hitler e Mussolini ante los fieles catolicos de sus respectivos paises. En fin, muy mal hecho.
