Yes, it is correct, this video was shot on my final day on the trail, 199 days after I left Georgia. Also, in response to the comment about the video being about ME... I'm actually not even in the video. Hollywood is a guy I hiked with...this was my "thanks for hiking with me" gift to him.

Brilliant video. Imagine something as uplifting as completion of the AT, climbing this beautiful mountain, and then this expression of friendship. Then this tfgg creature comes slithering out of the rocks, mumbling his stark raving and relentless insanity. Pretty funny!

Here's your perfect egotistical a-hole. Hey people, I'm 59 years old, it just ain't that difficult. Two eight year olds passed me climbing it with their dad. Great climb. Scarey at times...but make no mistake: Never a technical feat. Just fun.

It's about the journey, not the destination... Katahdin was not something that I ticked off my checklist upon summiting. However, a few things that I did accomplish included, making friends for a lifetime, learning how to simplify, re-discovering the beauty this world has to offer, slowing life down, and more. If you think, by any means, that my video states that "Hey, look at me, I'm a badass", well, you've totally missed the point.
