Birmingham Floods - 2008 (Kings Heath)

Didn't catch on video the poor crowd bailing water out of the homes just off Linpole Walk - that's where I heard someone say "It's the Web Lady.." Lol.. anything that promotes Druids Heath in a positive way will pop up on here if I'm out and about - and I don't bite!!!

I used to live on Druid's Heath and was driving down Druids Lane by Wilsford Close when I came across an overturned Rover 200. The engine was still running and a girl called Lizzie was trapped inside. Me and another guy got her out. That was late last year. Hope her Dad didnt bollock her too much.

I caught some of this and I live on Netheravon Close off Druids Lane. Not as bad as this, but the road was unfit to drive on for a good 50 yard stretch. Even when it stopped raining, the water still came flooding in from the fields on the other side of the road. I think we've already had a years worth of rain this month alone lol
