  • Hey Marti, what happened to your bobber thread at sohc net? A lot of us are dying to see what you did next. I also was inspired to buy and bob an old cb650 based solely on your work! Any updates would be really cool.

  • Life got in the way,but your in luck,I'm working on it right now and I'm taking pictures to put on the thread, soon I will update it,i promise.. :) Great you bobbed a 650 due to my thread, you got a thread going about it???

  • how tall are you if you dont mind me asking? im looking at a stock '80 cb650 and im bout 6'1" and im worried about looking like im on a 250 rebel haha. love the bober btw

  • lol,Don't worry with 6'1" ,I'm 6'7"...Had some people laugh at me for being kinda tall for it,but I don't care...:)

  • I just bought a 1980 cb 900,..You've inspired me!! Thanks.

  • @martino1972 Nah, I haven't really done anything innovative, mostly just cutting and painting. I haven't even taken any pictures of the bike yet, but it's looking clean, running good and feeling good, so I'll probably take some pics eventually or make a video. Thank you for the reply and best of luck with all your projects. Great videos!

  • keep checking the build thread,i update it often, right now the bike is in pieces, engine is painted, frame etc. and im making it remote start,no ignition key at all...

  • heyy i looked at that thread build you have thats really neat man i will prob by my cb 650 this weekand and start on it thanks.

  • i must say that is cool.
