Leah and her sister, Cass Elliot, two great voices of American music. What a pleasure Leah is to listen to. Singers today are just not cut from the same cloth as these two sisters were. Many thanks to you, Leah.

Leah Kunkel also worked with Arlo Guthrie and Art Garfunkel and she wrote for the Mamas and The Papas. The Coyote Sisters did a followup, Women And Other Visions. Just to mention a few other notable recordings.

Georgebur, get a copy of Liv's Life Is Good Cd. On there they did a song called "City Lights". Amazing harmonies and a great piece of music. I believe there is video of them doing it together on Youtube also. You will love it.

My gentle point is that Leah Kunkel is far from being overlooked. You know how America is. Art always struggles. Cass Elliot's last two studio albums were not blow-out commercial successes, but they were art. The ages preserve art, so Leah's music is safe and sound.

Actually, Leah's career has been just as stellar as her more famous sister's. As you can hear, Leah Kunkel possesses perfect musicaianship. A fact that was not lost on many who work with her, including James Taylor, Stephen Bishop, Matthew Sweet, Carly SImon, and others. We in the US do not really know how to measure success. Look at the solo work of both Cass and Leah and you will hear that both of these ladies realized their artistic visions and to heck with what the accountants say.

My god I am amazed by how much she sounds like Cass! I remember the day she died even now (I was 9) I cried because even then I knew how special she was and still is. I am sad that Leah has been so overlooked and am grateful u-tube has provided a venue so her music can be heard and appreciated. Sincerely Aquatania
