Ha! Thought I'd quit, did you? Well, I sort of did, for a while there as I got back into writing new music. I expect to keep at it, but I also expect I'll make some more videos. Sometime. For now, here's this quick and no-frills production of a lovely sad Alison Krauss tune (redundancy alert! "Sad" and "Alison Krauss tune"!) written by the redoubtable Sidney Cox. That's my Pop's old Kalamazoo tenor guitar from about 1940 you see in the center.

  • Glad to see you again. What a great sound you get from that combo.

The tenor is dulcimer-like. How is it tuned?

  • @newporter42 This will be the THIRD time I've tried to post this reply, twice having hit the "Post" button and not seeing the post go through earlier today. Grr. Anyway": the tenor guitar is tuned just like the top 4 strings of a guitar (which is also baritone uke tuning, n'est-ce pas?); however, since I seem to be up a half-step above normal tuning, my D chords are coming out G, capoed on the 4th fret.

    Clear as mud?

  • Awesome!!! This is one I'm going to Favorite! Keep strong! Keep going as long as you can!

  • @leifo5343 Well, I feel pretty welcomed back by that. Thank you!
