Thanks for the great video ! Do you have anymore songs from that night you could Post ? You really captured the magic going on between the band and the crowd on that night. I've seen the guys many times, in fact my brother lives not that far from Pat in New Jersey and I've seen them there also and met and talked with them many times. You're right- fantastic musicians and one of the greats bands of all time who have been unbelievably prolific in the last two years and as people just the best !

I actually did 'film' more from that show, but "Blood and Roses" didn't film due to my error. I'm going to have to sort through and see if I can find anything else from that show.
I'm hoping that they come back here really soon. It's been ages since I've been to Jersey, so that's not an option HA HA

In my hometown I was there and the band really connected with the crowd that night. There were people there from all walks of life and all ages and there must have been over ten thousand people hanging on and getting into every song. The band was really into it also because when the Smithereens come to Pittsburgh they always go over big time; just like this night and when they were outdoors at Hartwood Acres in 2004. If you ever get a chance to see the Smithereens, do it, they're tremendous !

This is actually my video that I took that night! :) My husband and I took my two daughters, and they LOVED The Smithereens! Pat and the guys were so cool to them, gave them guitar pics, posed for photos, and gave them autographs. The night was certainly tremendous. They are a bunch of super guys--musically and personality wise.
