The movie did have a discernable "meaning" - it was an ode to the baby boomers of the hippie generation, and a knock on everything related to conservatives. What craft there is to it is how well it obliquely tries to defend the history of Left fascism without appearing to openly do so - the strategy seems to be to attack every social theme the neo-Marxists opposed.

Not really a fan of Alan Moore. But I must say the movie is better than the comic. I really hated the comic (and yes I read it).

If you really didn't understand the movie it's okay Probation93, you're wrong to have made fun of such a hopeless being. Can you even imagine how low his self esteem must be to get in an argument with someone over youtube? Bigfootarts94, If you really don't understand the movie you are a moron, but you don't have to complain about everything you dislike on the internet. Watchmen was an incredible movie!
