Spyros Theodoridis, simply the oldest man in Greece reaching the age of 120 years. He was born in 1889 in Pontus (a region on the southern coast of the Black Sea), raised by Greek immigrants, and he is still alive! For three centuries he has been the protagonist of several wars. Today, through this video taken by the Greek national television, he narrates historical facts he witnessed through centuries.

English: This was the end, 19-12-08. He passed away quietly after an endless errantry within 3 centuries. I will never forget you great-grand father, goodbye..

  • YHVH the God of the world set the human lifespan to end at 120 years. I know we won't be seeing anyone past that age at any time in the future.

  • First of all what's your fucking problem with Greece???

Second, Greece was never poor, it is just its economy that has been affected last year as it happened with the most European countries. Watch the news before you speak or write anything otherwise you humiliate yourself.

Third, who said poor people can't leave longer? What's the connection? Get yourself educated first coz again you humiliate yourself.

Fourth, read a bit about the clan of "pontus" to get an idea why these men leave so..

  • Interesting fact that all people that are centarian have lost their birth-certificate, and claims that their 120 ++. Bullshit! Furthermore i highly doubt that people become this old in poor countries like Greece.

  • Fantastic story... great guy. It seems like he was given a lot of love, this combined with no stress... For most it is tough to find yourself in that situation or try to get yourself into this situation. I think he is righ about fortune

  • Be very proud of your great grandfather. It is obvious to me that he was a man to be respected.

  • Is he one of the un reconised people

  • PONTOS karadeniz- IS LEGEND
