@mrbriscoe2001 i thought about 'moral suicide' and this comment a lot but never posted. in LA certainly it seems like moral suicide, but in SF and even NYC the mentality and movement is much different. I'm sure it's even worse in Dallas, Texas or even Alabama where no known history of activism has been built. You'd think it would be worse in Bangkok Thailand, but it's better than LA.

@marikopassion the separation of the physical act of sex from real regard for the individual you're with is what I was referring to as "Moral suicide";.In my opinion , for BOTH parties ,it is a dead end- a dangerous addiction-and has tremendous potential to screw up the process everyone goes through of forming non-shallow,meaningful bonds;but Good luck to you. @mrbriscoe2001 ah.. but i like the interpretation that I ran with because it is REALLY HARD work to not only do the sex work, as well as to fight for your rights as a sex worker. RE: "The separation of the physical act of sex from real" is not really much different from how a chef separates their work from cooking for loved ones at home. I have great sex & emotion w/ clients and also not but i create boundaries to protect myself from damage which is different from desensitizing/dissassociating

.. to SPSL's posts: You need to have your head examined. I for one do not buy into all that religious crap. I am an aetheist and certainly feel strongly that it is because of "religions" that create so much harm, misinformation, stereotyping, and discrimination in our world. I get my morals and values from logic, facts, and common sense. Not from a book written centuries ago by a bunch of old fanatical, mentally unstable men.

I agree completely. We need regulation to protect those that are being victimized. Women were being hurt during illegal abortions, so we legalized it, and that is certainly not a situation where both parties consent as in adult services.

Everyone deserves to feel and experience love. Pushing it underground, will only cause more victimization.

I have a real job. In fact I have SEVERAL jobs. A couple businesses that I own and operate to be accurate.
