Rokinon 500mm f6.3 Mirror Lens Test on Canon EOS 5D MkII

500mm Mirror Lens on EOS 5D MkII. Had to have it and try it. Didn't expect much, but its actually ok, more than ok for Video, and only 160 USD. Of course you need a tripod more expensive than the lens, and a steady hand for focusing. Some scenes from Bali. For those who don't have the choice of buying 36 Rokinons or one Canon 500L. The footage looks very good in 1080p..

The lens is not much for ordinary photography, but you can.

@RDProductions1001 No samples at hand, you can find some on flickr. The contrast and sharpness are much worse than "normal" lenses. But for movies wonderfully nice.

@mysterio192001 Set 'Manual' setting on your camera. It will then operate in manual mode and no error messages. Shutter will operate also.

@spy96 500 mm is 500 mm on apsc, 35mm , medium format , or large format, there's no difference , angle of view however thats another story.
