At the beginning of the rise when she clearly hit the front is where her tare in the quad happened , she cantered to a 2 length lead at that point,,, if not injured she would of won by 10 lengths minimum..a tare that it usually career ending. One of the worse muscle tares in the quad a thoroughbred can have.A serious injury , she should of been pulled up during the race and not finished it , thats how serious it was. Then tell me exactly when she was injured? You can't though because you haven't got a clue & for all you know it could have been when pulling up after the race, been overnight in her box or even the next day when out in the field.

The jockey didn't seem too fussed & not only did he not dismount, he even rode back up & down the track in victory, so if he doesn't know when it happened or if it had any bearing on her performance then you certainly don't.

What were you saying again about facts?

If your implying that she was not injured during the race and you have scene the race and scene her previous races then you should be able to see her stride action is way off compared to her other 23 starts. If your going to ignore the FACT that she suffered a major injury then there is no point even bothering with you. FACTS TALK

We go by where the horse is trained regarding nationality, otherwise SYT is a NZ horse.

And apart from the fact nobody knows at what stage Black Caviar was supposed to have been injured and it could have been post race or even the next day, (the jockey didn't dismount and even rode up back up and down the track in a victory parade so couldn't have been that bad) Society Rock was sat down in the stalls when the gates opened, lost 6 lengths on BC and was still only beaten 2 lengths at the line where she beat 7f and mile horses and fell over the line to even do that.

Does the name Taufan's Melody ring any bells? No English horse may have won the MC but plenty have gone very close but we only send our plodders over anyway because as soon as any Europeans send a good one they are slaughtered with weight, whereas your supposed superstars like SYT get in lightly and still can't win it.

We don't have many decent sprinters here but they still spank yours that come over more often than not but selective memory seems to be a bit of an Aussie disease.
