This one is definitely a milestone in Tylers own timeline. Tyler sits down with DEVOs Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerry Casale minutes before taking the stage for their first Boston show in over 20 years. Akrons finest cite The Beatles on Ed Sullivan, The Rolling Stones, and also Captain Beefheart as inspiration. With groundbreaking hits like Whip It, DEVO and their groundbreaking singles flourished in a pre-internet world. They did warn us de-evolution will be televised. Hold onto your energy dome.
The interviwer just dosen't seem to get what Devo's about

they're right, young people like me are getting into DEVO not only because their music is amazing, but also because i can relate to it. i noticed people were devolving long before i got into DEVO.

This is an awesome Devo interview. Im surprised it has so little views. I became a Devo fan in 1978 when I found a promotional copy of thier first 1978 LP in the garbage. That dummy who threw out that LP didnt understand Devo but I loved it, and the whole world joined me in 1980 when Whip It was released. These guys are great, thanks for posting this video man!!!
