Is it better to place treats on the ground rather than handing out? I've seen several people do this now.

Are you first saying your dogs name, then 'come'?

amazing, i like your methods and i use them on my clients very effective! can we use clickers on elder dogs who never been clicked before ?

your dog already knows how to heel so how can my dog come when called if he doesnt know heel?

How can I train my 1 year old dog? He doesn't obeys me and I doubt I'm his "master". Also, would a finger snap work as a clicker?

Hi. How can I use clicker training in order to built a protection dog since she is stll a 2 month puppy?

I love your videos, but the problem i have with my puppy is that after i give him the treat the first time, he realizes that i have treats with me. When he realizes i have treats, he simply sits and stares at me, and ignores calls and toys. what can i do to get him to work for his treats?

thanks, good video
thanks, tab! Enjoy your videos and have applied a couple to the pups we're dogsitting. wondering if you have touched on how to keep from getting your fingers nipped when offering the treats, other than tossing the treat onto a surface which in turn is distraction 'cause she thinks she needs to search for more. one pups is very rough and always hungry (no medical reason) so even if i feed her a little before working with her she still manages to get my fingers in her teeth. i'm new to training

@tris2go A lot of dogs get over-aroused & mouthy when we're training with food. I might have touched on it in the past, but I'll look into going over it more in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!

nice, would you do this same technique with a new puppy?

@murwill1 Yes, we can do that - but there are a few other things that are good to do in conjunction with this exercise. I mention some of them in my first video on teaching a dog to come.
