@scarybozo Bulgaria's attitude is rife and endemic. Yes, there's cruelty everywhere including the UK, but it's a fact that some countries have normalised cruelty more than others and where attitudes towards animal welfare are behind. It's clear that Bulgaria does indeed have bigger problems than others. Your sarcasm does not help your argument any either. Btw, yes, thankyou, I'm well aware of the cruel meat industry which is why no, I haven't eaten animals for years. Enlightening enough for you?

@itshouldntbeallowed Wow, how enlightening... Yes, there are some cruel and sadistic people in Bulgaria, just like everywhere else, including the UK. Don't you have serial killers, rapists, child molesters? And, by the way, do you eat meat? If yes, then do you know how the meat animals suffer during their entire lives?

"An infallible characteristic of meanness is cruelty. Men who have practised tortures on animals without pity, relating them without shame, how can they still hold their heads among human beings?" Samuel Johnson (1709-1784) They cannot. Bulgaria is full of walking breathing black holes, shaped like humans, devoid of humanity. Shame on you Bulgaria, you have created a culture of cruelty and a country full of sadists.

WHY. Why and how can people do this to another sentient being? What created within them this kind of evil? This needs to be seriously examined. Yes, we do need to continue to humanely address the issue of animal overpopulation. But we also, seriously need to take a look at whatever it is that is creating the kind of MONSTER that would inflict such cruelty on another sentient.

Moving,powerful, heartbreaking, and BARBARIC!
HOW can the repulsive dregs of humanity responsible for these atrocities be of the same species as the saints who are giving their utmost to help these poor creatures.
Bulgaria a country without laws against animal cruelty - how the hell is this possible ? It's the 21st century, the Dark Ages are SUPPOSEDLY far behind us - but not in Bulgaria apparently!
