Quite simply, this is the amplifier that has been relevant and pertinent to popular music for over 50 years. Thats quite an achievement. Now Vox presents the AC15 Custom. This utterly responsive 1 x 12 valve combo amp has two channels, a normal and Top Boost. The normal channel has volume, master volume, and tone cut controls. Explore the interactions between the master volume and volume for a variety of overdriven tones. Plug into the Top Boost channel to expand the Vox tone, with adds adjustable bass/treble controls. Go from sparkling crystalline chord work to overdriven British hot tone with the Vox AC15 Customs Celestion G12M Greenback. This sweet valve combo is powered by three 12AX7 preamp tubes and the powerplant is equipped with a two EL84 tubes. This provides amazing responsiveness and rich warm classic Vox tube tone. Also on board are rich reverb and tremolo effects that are controllable through an included footswitch. Creatively using the tremolo, the Top Boost channel, and reverb will provide you with some truly remarkable clean tones. Driving this amp will give some astonishing break-up that Vox is renown for.
