Hi there, nice video man!

I wanted to ask you something: if plugged directly yo my audio device, is there any vst software capable to give it a good warm sound? I mean, a good vst preamp, a simulator of well known preamp.. Thank you!

@WinterExile There are several plug ins to help you fatten the recording and DSP cards with emulations of great hardware. Universal Audio has some of the best emulations.. There is a plug-ins called vintage warmer - Cubase has a legacy plug-in called Magneto to saturate the signal like tape recorders.

My fav. are the NEVE and SSL console emulations. I had many tube pre-amps before but I got rid of them.. I use now the pre-amps on my audio interface (MR816 CSX) and the DIGIMAX FS pre. + VSTs

Mic is right at the port hole..

VST Plug-in "1973" is the one making the magic.. boosting at 60hz

WHen I zoom in on each plug in, you can see the settings I used on each one of them.. THe 1973 EQ plug-in is the one doing the magic...

Visit Stillwell Audio for some cool VST to download for free but if you keep using them please help the developers... Its not a crack site.. Try VIBE EQ and 1973.. they also have MajorTom and Rocket compressors..

SM57 has been used as a vocal mic in the studio for decades.. If the sound fits the music, you will have no problems..

Sting uses it for his vocals..
