I filmed this at Jerry's house last year (2008) during a visit. It is the old hymn "In the Garden" but jazzed up so nice it deserved a new name! Jerry is still playing great and has many CD's at his site: www.jerryhahn.com
Perhaps Jerry should be remembered as more than a "minor legend". I'd agree he is certainly an under-appreciated legend. His work in the late 1960's/ early 70's with John Handy and Gary Burton was among the most forward-looking of any guitarist. And, yes, "Moses" is something of a jazz guitar classic. Most significant, though, as evidenced here, JH can still play his butt off. Sounds terrific, Jerry. Thanks.
Nice stuff! Jerry Hahn is a minor legend in my opinion! I remember discovering his Moses album in 1988 and finding his other albums in the back piles of used record stores. His guitar method is also good.
