  • Ashley Dupre didn't choose to be famous for being a prostitute. She was a worker in the sex industry, toiling in anonymity like most sex workers until she got outed. Her madam committed suicide. She's been through a lot of humiliation and loss. I feel for her. Now she is reinventing herself, making the best of a bad situation, making a new life for herself. I hope she can. I appreciate your feelings about your previous video. You're a kind, empathetic person. I don't feel your video was unkind.

  • I think its good you made this. I feel sorry for her, the sex industry generally exploits the least well off, but they still get ridiculed in the media like its a free choice. I think you covered your views on all this in your video about nelly and his porn video, if I remember right. Anyways, good on you.

  • This is coming very late, but I have to say, I barely remembered the whole Ashley Dupre/Spitzer thing and had no idea she could even sing, but kinda like one of the previous posters said - what she did and the whole situation surrounding her WAS unpleasant, but for someone like me who's clueless about that sort of stuff, all this really did was give me a really beautiful remix to listen to. But total props to you for being so kind and respectful to Ms. Dupre, too, dude.

  • Admirable!

  • Jay - honestly - take her "situation" out of the equation and all you did was take a yet another good-looking girl with a mediocre voice and song and you made it better. The Snoop song is a perfect complement to her song. Its great that you have a conscience and feel the need to right a "wrong", but I honestly dont think you were fanning the flames - theres not much there...

  • Glad you made the video. I'm not usually the "hater" type, but her becoming famous happened through her screw up and it's her own fault. Yes, it's adding fuel to a fire she and Spitzer built together, but it does deserve attention as a demoralizing situation that happens here in the US over and over without resolution. It's not evolution that's slow, it's the people who are.

  • Don't worry Jay, we know you wrote the book on "The ethics of clowning people"

  • Damn, I was like "who is Dupre?"

the remix was really good though
