@zattarra00 Culture and tradition are not an excuse for cruelty and pain. It used to be a cultural tradition in the united states to have slaves and fight dogs, but today both are illegal for good reason. It was a tradition to beat horses into submission not too ago as well, but we have, for the most part, out grown it. I hope someday animal cruelty for the sake of entertainment will not be tolerated no matter what part of the world, or cultural tradition, it is supposedly in accordance with

If we remove all thought processes about culture, war, racism, stereotypes...what are we left with? A man that is on a horse. The man seems to be hitting the horse continuously, there is no actual good horsemanship/training being accomplished, and the horse seems aggravated/scared at the least. So what can the final conclusion be? This appears to either be a cruel/ignorant form of training or a sick form entertainment.

@zattarra00 just because you have more horses in your country just means that you are breeding them excessively. This is no way to treat an animal. Just because you think it is a "sport" in your country doesn't make it right. People fight animals for sport too, is that okay? Horses were originally domesticated as a means of travel and work, not as useless beings to be tormented for fun at the expense of a bunch of rowdy idiots.
