No, that Error is known by the A320 Series and not dangerous...it's because the wires should hold ten years, but mostly die under stress of the changing temperatures sooner...but the material has other advantages, that's way it's still used.
Lufthansa has one of the best safety records(Top 20), around the world, so you see, it's not their fault and that's way the crew stayed so cool. But the crew should passed that Info to the passengers, like Fly Niki did, way I know this.
;3)

Nothing special for the A320 Series...that is because the wiring of the passenger cabin systems is very cheap on Airbus and when temperature falls, some time the isolation of those wires brakes(If they are to old, but it's not dangerous, just light and entertainment systems have malfunctions on that occasion)...you would never see this on a Boeing plane...but the name says it all...Airbus.
But even on a bus, something like that never occurred to me. LOL

@martythesailor So you can see at 0:18 on your right there's the LH logo =)

I think this suggests the light-ing system is overheated... They should've just turned it off. Thank goodness the flight weren't on fire... Why would such "high class" airline let such plane be flying around? I'd totally ground it... For safety reasons... Who knows if it is electricity overload and is about to burst into fire...

damn, if their maintenance guys couldn't anticipate to prevent an electronic glitch like that then pray their engine maintenance guys have higher IQ than them.
This is an electrical failure!
But this is not an Lufthansa Airplane!
