So here we are. At the finish line. 10 month in the making. 7 minutes long. It has taken hundred of dives and thousands of takes. It has cost us a small fortune and most of our sanity. But it is done. We hope you enjoy it. We hope you get behind us. There is much yet to do. Please share it and please buy it. Sing it far and wide. This is our chance to sing for our oceans. It is time to go BOOM.

The proceeds from the sale of the song will be given to the organisations shown @ 5:40.

  • all of this was filmed in Ras Mohammed National Park in the Red Sea, Egypt.

  • Cool Video! Which camera and housing were used for this brilliant scenes?

  • @MyAutschn The camera is a canon 65D with tokina 10-17 lens. With a nauticam 60d housing 8 inch dome port :)

  • A lack of info for the general public leads to such a response. It boils down to one fact. No sharks means no oxygen. We stop breathing. Sharks eat the fish that hunt the reefs. These fish eat the plant eaters. The plant eaters stop the algae and plant life growing faster than the coral. The coral gives us oxygen. No sharks = lots of reef hunters = no plant eaters = too much plant life = coral does not make oxygen = people do not breathe = terrestrial life pretty much ceases to exist.

  • You're missing the point. Imagine you're a third world citizen, someone offers you lots of money to fish for shark fins, you're faced with two choices, one fish for shark fin, make money. Or two work elsewhere. If option two does not exist then they will always choose option one. Thats why there needs to be an option two given to them. Help set up a sea weed farm for them, create a sea cucumber farm, a prawn farm. I don't advocate shark finning. Im Aussie, not Chinese. How is this narrow minded?

  • @diskspanner We understand that option one is the only available option at the moment diskspanner. And its something we at The Tank Bangers want to change! We love the ocean, and we truely believe that people don't choose to fin sharks/murder dolphins for enjoyment. They do it to feed their families. And survive.

And that is why we are planning ideas for option 2 :) To give these people a choice, another way of surviving. And in return we will see our oceans recover.
