  • If you really like scratching why would you use cd decks?

  • I am a CLUB DJ for over 33 years now.. I was a scratch DJ back in the early/mid 80's when it was in style so were sampleing and editing just check out the latin rascales who started it all analog wich actually took time and effort to do. "not like today with all this easy to do kid stuff". A real DJ to me blends perfect mixes, you shouldn't even here another song running! it doesn't even matter about your equipment. i like the technics 1200 cd players because the old school.

  • @LogoMproductions yes, vinyl is expensive and sometimes hard to find, but for god sakes, VINYL SOUND QUALITY WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN ANY MP3/WAV/FLAC or AAC FILE.... and no, if the club is setup properly then there is no chance of the needle moving even 0.01mm

  • @fishfan67 Doesn't matter if you've been a DJ for 33 years... Its the present not the past and for you information all these new DJ equipment is not "all easy to do kid stuff" people are thinking of new ways to scratch and blend perfect mixes. and yes true it doesn't matter what kind of equipment you have but it does matter whether the equipment is not working properly.

  • @THEDEFOCATOR he's a pirate! lol

  • @THEDEFOCATOR cause theres no real point of using old vinyl records that are expensive, hard to find, low quality and of some more reasons. not to mention that you maybe like to scratch but dont do that too often. besides if youre in a big club your needles will jump from the subwoofer

  • I don't hear any distortion.

  • there is no digital sound ... LOL

  • @fishfan67 I don't understand why you would buy such expensive equipment not to use. Idunno, maybe you mix. But you you sound like you're contradicting yourself.

  • you can scratch very good with the numark cdx...it is a cdplayer too

  • Scratching sounds like shit with any decks. only kids scratch unless it's back in the 80's when it was in. as far as feeling like a real sl-1200 turntable YOU CANT BEAT THE SL-DZ-1200 cd players they even feel like my SL-1200' Turntables. not all plastic and shit. like the pioneers and denons Also you do not need all those bullshit effects that keep getting add on every new deck that comes out each year. what a scam!!!!
