Bill Bailey Comes Home! A Dog Rescue Story

Animal Advocates Society of BC bought this big yellow lab/great Dane cross from the Abbotsford BC pound for $130. One of our supporters saw him there, sick and dejected. He was so depressed that each day she went there, she saw his body and spirit sinking. We went immediately to buy him. He was emaciated, full of worms, and had a huge lick granuloma on one of his legs. He had no name so we called him Bill. What a happy guy! He doesnt know who hes with or where hes going, but boy hes glad to be out of that pound!

Thats beautiful. I wish I could go to a shelter and bring home the dog least likely to be adopted but i have to many animals already.

Beautiful story. Thank you for posting this. We need to see more happy endings for animals who suffer at the hands of people. You truly are angels and a massive inspiration. It reminds me that I need to get to our local doggie shelter to walk some dogs. You truly are appreciated for what you do and give to these gorgeous animals.
