This course is for those of you who already have a good understanding of Logic, if you are at a basic level then we would advise taking the more basic courses before moving onto the Synthesis course.

At the beginning of the course we will take you through how synthesis works and how we use this to create sound giving you a tour of the synthesizer and how you control it. We will then demonstrate how to make and create various sounds including Drums, Bass, wobble Bass, LFO, melody, and strings using enveloping and modulation. With 8 weeks access to the portal you will have plenty of time to work through the lessons as many times as you wish.

We will provide you with course notes which you can download and even a terminology sheet to help you understand all the areas of the synth.

Learning and understanding these Software Synthesizers in Logic will easily enable you to apply the same process on other synths that you may buy, and create your own unique sounds. We highly recommend getting to grips with the logic synths first as they are very powerful and are used by some of the top producers in the world to create their sounds.
