Hey Martin,
There is some great playing on this channel! One of the best Dobro players I have met next to Junior Barber. Have you ever tried a Biscuit Bridge? I have a Republic Miniolian Parlor size and must say I get nothing but complements about the unique sound. I think you should think about getting one!

I have no Regal but lately I found an old Dobro Model 37 that was build in 1936. I will soon show up with that guitar here on YouTube.

I have to learn that behind the bar bend! Do you folow the string with the bar on the bend or do you keep the bar still during the bend?

I keep the bar still during the bend. Check out Louise and Careless Love. There you can see the string pulls pretty good.
