Russia ready to ditch NATO - Medvedev

President Medvedev says Russia is ready to break off relations with NATO if necessary. His comments came after a meeting with Russia's ambassador to the alliance, Dmitry Rogozin. NATO has been highly critical of Russia's handling of the conflict between Georgia and South Ossetia.

@frankth3tnk Let me make one fact strait, the US did SHIT to help out in the war. Russia recieved hardly, if any, supplies from them. I don't see what you are percieving as "ignorant" when all he said was truth.

@frankth3tnk If you were so smart you would know the U.S. only joined the war against germany because Hitler declared war on The U.S. You would also know that Hitler wasn't required to declare war on the U.S. but he did so anyway in hopes that Japan would return the favour by Joining Germany against the U.S.S.R.

@dave777blaster....you are ignorant for even making this claim. If you were so smart you would know that we only entered WW2 b/c of Pearl Harbor. Russia begged us to join so there would be a 2nd front; Stalin resented US for taking so long to enter conflict, creating pretense for Cold War. Im pretty sure you can find this on Wikipedia. Im not disputing SU's role in WW2, but w/o the help of other Allied Powers, Russian's would be speaking German now, given the Nazi's were only 5 miles from Moscow
