Lost a Jonas Sister Story Chapter 10

Ashley's POV--

I slowly looked up and saw everyones jaw on the floor and their eyes bulging outta their heads. It was actually funny. I looked at Kevin, then Nick, and then Miley. They were all smiling and nodding. Then I looked at my parents, then Joe, then Frankie, and finally Big Rob. They were all shocked.

Nick: Finally. It's been years!

Mom: You knew?

Nick, Miley, and Kevin: Yup.

Mom: And you didn't tell us?

NMK: Nope.

Mom: Honey, you're great! Why didn't you tell us?

Ashley: Because, I'm a dancer. Dancers aren't singers. And what would you have done? I couldn't be in the Jonas Brothers. Hence the name, Jonas Brothers.

Mom: Well, I'm not sure. But you're really good. You should sing for Hollywood Records! You'd be amazing!

Ashley: No! People will think the boys got me in. And I'll never be Ashley. I'll be the Jonas Brothers' sister. Which I don't have a problem with, but I could never be just me.

Mom: I'm sorry you feel that way. I didn't know that your brothers were a problem.

Ashley: They're not! I just.. gaah. Nevermind. Erase all of that. I never sang, and I never will. And if you still think I did, then I won't ever again.

With that mom and I stormed out of their dressing room and in the opposite direction. She was mad at me and I was mad at her. This is stupid.

I grabbed my purse and I left. Yep, I left the venue. I couldn't do this. I put on a hat and sunglasses and went out the front door. If I went out the back, the fans would know it was me. I had to be conspicuous. It was working. I got a taxi and went to a hair salon. While waiting, I got a call from Nick.

Nick: Where are you?

Ashley: Not with you.

Nick: You're on soon. You know, you're a dancer...

Ashley: Miley has an extra, Mandy. She knows how to do everything. Put her in. I'm not coming back. I'm being someone else.

Nick: We really bother you that much?

Ashley: No. I have to go. Bye.

Nick: Text me. Bye.

I was called back to a chair and I knew exactly what I wanted done.

Nick's POV--

I had to tell Miley the news. She was pretty upset. Her and Ash were really close. Mom and dad were freaking out. Frankie was sleeping and Kevin and Joe were furious.

Joe: I know her. I can find her if I see her eyes.

Kevin: When I get my hands on her, she is in so much trouble.

Nick: Have you ever thought that maybe we're the problem.

Joe: What?

Nick: I mean, with our fame and everything. She dropped dance and came with us. What if that wasn't what she wanted to do?

Joe: She dances every night.

Nick: Well maybe she wants to be her own person. We've never really thought about what she wanted to do.

Kevin: Nick's right...

Joe: I'm a horrible brother! She's supposed to like me the best. And she hates me.

Kevin: She's just mad. She doesn't hate you.

Joe: My baby sister is out there on her own. In this big scary world. *Dramatically looks off into the distance*

Nick: Joe. Cut it out.

Joe: Okay, I'm done. So now what?

Nick: We play the concert and then we go look for her.

*Miley comes running up*

Miley: Is she really gone?! *Crying*

Nick: *Hugs her* I'm sorry. But she left. We'll find her, I promise!

Miley: You don't know that! There's crazy people out there! And my gorgeous best friend is walking alone!

Nick: Let's think good thoughts... like we're playing a sold out show. And they're all here to see your smiling face.

Miley: ...

Nick: Don't make me tickle you...

Miley: ....

*Nick tickles her until she smiles*

Nick: Gotcha! Now go get ready. Everything will be fine.

Miley: Okay...
