UC Davis has a test field of pomegranates called Wolfskill. They would know just about everything you need to know about Pomegranates. I have never wanted to grow a pomegranate from seed, when it is almost 100 percent successful with a pencil sized cutting, that is true to the variety, unlike the randomness of a seed!
That pomegranate in the intro looks manky!
