@PiNInFarina18 Well the F1 rejects forum had a story on that and claimed that both Lambo and Ferrari V12 were big and heavy upseting the cars balance and thirsty so they did more harm than good. Proof of this is that the engine which dominated F1 from 88 until 96 or so (when V12s were outlwaed) were actually V10s: the Honda who took the Mclaren for 3 titles and the Renault which swept away every year from 92 to 97 (except 94 with Ford)

They used customer Ford engines in 94. Minardi had an engine deal with Lambo for a short while.

If Minardi had Ferrari or Lamborghini Engines I would have guaranteed more points for them.

Minardi had decent, nimble chassis in 93-94. Shame about poor power and lack of money!

One of the more beautiful cars in 1994. It looked promising then for Minardi, as their drivers told. Sadly what would have been a success story was destroyed by Flavio Briatore the next season when he sued them off a lot of money. After that Minardi was never the same and it was not until they got bought up by Red Bull that they started to make progress. They finally got what they deserved for so long in Monza last year. And I was there to witness it.
