Sculling: Extend your arms in front of you in the push-off position. Bend your arms so there's a downward trend from your elbows to fingertips. With palms facing your feet and fingers pointing to the bottom of the pool, sweep your hands out toward the side and back in to move yourself forward. A steady, smooth rhythm is key to success.
