  • marks650yamahas com tell mark jon from az send you if you want new paint or I have a complete 8 piece bodyworks with new paint Im not using.

It takes 6-8 weeks to get your stuff back painted,

  • Who did your paint work? I'm restoring an XS1 . Any offers yet?

  • @coldpoint

hey there, i have a another complete set of newly painted body works for the xs1.

Gas tank, headlight bucket, fork ears, side covers, shocks $1800 for the set

Thats what new paint costs me, but the paint job is 7-9 coats of paint. Well worth it. 1000x better than any new auto dealership paint.

  • Good to talk with you. I will get a pic on that Suzuki ts250. I'd still like to get one of these off you! My future in laws have a place near Phoenix. When I go there I can come over, if I buy one can it be ridden to there Garage?

  • @johnzamojcin

when are you coming to arizona ?

The bikes needs to have insurance and be registered if you want to ride it without the possibility of police interaction. The title is in my name but it is not registered.

  • the bikes look awesome... l would like to know what you would ask for one of these if you were to sell one? l havent decided if i want a project for my 14 year old son and i this summer or just buy one already restored.. thx

  • @tubes2 I also sent you a message in your YOUTUBE message INBOX, which is more informative. let me know

  • So sweet, congrats !!

  • @tubes2 These bikes are 40 years old my friend. only 10,300 were manufactured in each year 1970 & 1971 Finding all the parts isnt easy, and then reconditioning the parts to "like new condition" is another story.

Finding a bike in very rusty condition to use for a project takes extreme luck. At the end of the video a picture is shown of the candy orange 1971 xs1b version, $5500 for the orange bike, $6500 for the green bike. Thats their market prices. The paint jobs alone costs $1500 each

  • @rd40077 sure
