@rrgert4 You can install the card and then the drivers. If Windows does have one built in it will ask for it and then you have to point Windows to the drivers which can be difficult to find. By installing the drivers for you skip that step and it makes the process easier.

@defbound24 Yes you can use a USB wireless adapter instead of an add-on card. Section 2, Lesson 2 shows how to install a USB wireless adapter.

Hey man :D I was just wondering if you could help me? I have recently bought a wireless PCI card for my Desktop. I installed it no problem with the help of your guide. However My desktop doesnt seem to pick it up even after I've installed the drivers, on closer inspection the LED on the back of the card arnt lighting up (No power?) do you think there is a problem with the card its self?
