A 1969 Stingray's Tale

We purchased this 69 Vette back in January of 84. After thoroughly enjoying driving the car for a couple of years, life happened. We drove it for a few more years until 89 when we allowed the tags to expire because of much needed maintenance. As you can see from the video, good intentions lead to lost dreams. Seeing the Crown My Car contest if nothing else, has motivated us to dust off this old sixties muscle car and once again consider getting the beast running. We really need to get this classic back on the job of pounding the pavement. Thanks for the inspiration!

My father parked his '73 convertible for the same "responsibility" reasons.. this was the car that started me on my corvette infatuation! 25 years later ill with a rare diesease (dermatomyositis), & cancer.. i decided to try and get it brought home... he had an emergency surgery, that week I under took getting it home. he had a huge smile when I showed him pictures... he had 3 surgeries in three weeks and unfortunately passed away. Im going to do the car his way in his memory.  GL to You :)
