Simple Greed causes income inequality, you know the Wall Street movie, or a better example would be Cuba. Fidel and Che saw a very few swimming in wealth, gross luxury, whilst millions of peasants were living in abject squalor - no running water or lights, shacks for houses. So the lawyer and the doctor, Fidel and Che, got a ragtag army together and chased the greedy bastards from Cuba. George Washington and his ragtag army did the same thing and chased out a greedy monarch.

Very nice, Laura! But be very careful! Disparities in income is very different from disparities in wealth--you could be wealthy and have low or no income (you could own valuable assets, for example, like a house worth a half a million dollars, but subsist on a low income like Social Security or have no income at all). BTW, I'm one of your FB friends!
