Previously we did the first tank of breaking in. I waited for a nicer day to complete all 5 tanks because as you know, engine break in is pretty time consuming. Here is the full break in tutorial, coming up next you can find Tuning videos, Maiden bashing and much more at my Channel.

  • Have you ever tried the 'New School' method of break in?

  • @Laceyktm Nops never tried it :) always used this one

  • Wouldn't it be "healthier" for the engine to drag out the break-in process for a few more tanks? I was reading a 6 tank guide, turned into 7 because I realised the first tank must be idle. But my NitroStar is running pretty well. Also, you should be able to start it with the throttle trim centered. If that doesn't happen, replace your glow plug with a Fox Manufacturing Hot Glow Plug. That's what I did, combined it with my new lock-in ignitor and starts very easily. Prime and start.

  • @SUPERFORMIAN A 6 tank guide will include the first tank being idle mate. My engine starts very easily. When you break in as many engines per month as I do you won't take half as much care with breaking them in :D

  • can you free get cars?

  • Hi!

In this video I could not see you priming the engine before every tank. You only primed it on the 1 and the 2 tank, and not on the 3 and the 4th. Aren't you supposed to prime the engine before every tank?

  • @jthornley12 Miht be worth trying as an experiment to test longevity of engine. Basically, on a brand new engine you alter the stock settings to just slightly rich (rather than very rich which is always stock). Pr-heat engine to 160F. Fire up and start running immediately on the ground. use mid range revs to get the engine up into the 200's. Do this on 3 minute cycles letting it cool each time until you have put in 40 mins of run time. Hey presto you're motor is broken in. Time to start tuning.

  • Hi m8 I've just bought this car and sounds silly but can work out how to get the aeriel to fit s the antena is to short to fit through the cut out at the back of the body any idea cheers ps. Good video
