1) He won

2) He played more agressive, hit more winners while davydenko grinded a bit more

great match, too bad that it was the first match and not the final. great gesture from both of them during hand-shaking. I love to see such great sportmanship, especially from Nole, to see that great ambitions do not interfere with fairness.

Davydenko's relentless shotmaking, almost always taking the ball on the rise, is so amazing to watch.. and he has so fast reactions. It reminds me of Agassi somehow...

Hope to see him back in top form in 2011....
