Minneapolis leaders are angling to keep the Minnesota Vikings in their city with an offer to pay a little more than 20 percent of the cost of a new stadium. A source with direct knowledge of the Minneapolis proposal told 5 Eyewitness News the city will offer a little over 20 percent of construction costs with money from a mix of new and existing city sales taxes. The proposal will include money to renovate Target Center, where the NBA's Timberwolves play.
