Greetings Canada,

My response is simple -

Our country was founded on diversity and multi-culturalism - We should encourage this.

And the fault-line that seperate Quebec are similar to the alienation of the west, the maritimes, and the north.

We should be encouraging a united Canada - and the best way to do that is to support our foundations of diversity and multi-culturalism!

We do this by recognizing Quebec, the West, the Maritimes, the North and Central Canada as divere and unique.

Should we re-open the constition? No.
Should be celebrate and encourage uniqueness within the provinces? Absolutly,

Cheers,

James Bagan

  • I am definately in favor of multi-cultural and diversity in Canada as a whole unit, however there exist vital components of the entire unit. In particular, a unified and fair response regarding Quebec is to treat it as a wayward or prodigal offspring which has been permitted to exercise too much control over its destiny. By disenfranchising Quebec in a positive and empathic manner, the collective goal, Canada and Quebec, would be cleaner, leaner and more attuned to Canada, not Quebec.interests
