Ten years after the 9/11 attacks, two-thirds of Americans say it's OK to sacrifice some rights and freedoms in the fight against terrorism, says a poll by the AP and the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. (Sept. 6)

Giving up any of your freedoms willingly is the act of a lazy fool. Too lazy to stand up for yourself and foolish to believe the loss of the freedom will be used to protect you. Losing freedom by getting paded down at an airport? By having to walk through an x-ray to detect if you have any bombs or other weapons used to harm innocent civilians? By doing that, they're taking away your freedom? Fuck no! They're trying to protect our airlines from being hi-jacked, and crashed in to anything, .. like what happened in 9/11. Few million people give their lives in 1775-1783(US Revolution), 1861-1865 (Civil War), 1918 (WW1), and 1942 (WW2) to protect the rights and freedoms that was only found in the US, yet in a matter of almost 11+ years, most of those rights will be shot down by politicians and paranoid germaphobes who'd easily give up a few freedom, then a few more, and a few more, and more, Then you've got fascist despots saying "We're doing this to protect you!"
