And yeah dust doesn't kill an open running drive immediately ! I personally done extreme test on old 10 - 80 gb drives while transferring and playing music from them defragging chechkdisking and etc ! If you leave em open without it running then it screwes up with time !!!

Seagate is good I'm using it right now as I type from my laptop : st momentus xt 750gb 32mb cache + 8ssd !!! Expensive mofo !! But worth it !! I own 3 st momentus xt 500gb which 4gb each so yeah proud n happy to see how nice and work dedicated people don't give up n work for us !!! Thanx china !! With all do respect !!!

i want to see how the drives are assembled from start to finish, how the platters are made and coated, and the intricate little heads are carefully positioned and assembled.
